The SATURN HD-20 is a compact strain wave mount engineered for high performance in portable and semi-permanent optical systems. Designed to support up to 20 kg of photographic payload, it combines lightweight construction with structural rigidity, enabling precise tracking and fast slewing up to 19°/sec. Integrated magnetic encoders with 1.3 arcsecond resolution per axis ensure accurate motion control, while the dual saddle configuration allows parallel installation of two optical tubes. The mount can operate in both Alt-Az and Equatorial modes thanks to the integrated latitude adjustment system. A weatherproof design with ceramic surface treatment makes the SATURN HD-20 suitable for demanding outdoor applications.
