The SkyWatcher ESPRIT 100 EDX is a 100 mm f/5.5 apochromatic refractor featuring a 550 mm focal length ED triplet lens, engineered by SkyWatcher to deliver optical and mechanical performance superior to the EVOSTAR series. The telescope includes a dedicated 1.0x field flattener that preserves the native focal length while providing a fully corrected field for Full Frame sensors, making it ideal for astrophotography. This PrimaLuceLab configuration also comes equipped with a rich set of accessories: the ESATTO 3” robotic focuser, PLUS support rings, and an aluminum transport case.

ESATTO: the most advanced and affordable robotic focuser!
This special version of the SkyWatcher ESPRIT 100 EDX features the ESATTO 3” robotic focuser, which can be controlled remotely from any Windows computer via a USB connection, or wirelessly through the ESATTO app on your smartphone or tablet using the Virtual HandPad. On the camera side, ESATTO offers an M81x1 male thread, allowing you to connect and manually rotate a wide range of cameras and accessories by using the optional stop-ring adapters. The ESATTO 3” provides 25 mm of travel, an impressive 8 kg load capacity, and an extraordinary 0.04-micron step resolution—the level of precision that inspired its name. Depending on the camera and accessories you plan to use, extension tubes may be required to achieve the correct backfocus. You can further enhance the system by adding the ARCO robotic camera rotator, creating a fully motorized and remotely operated imaging train.

In this kit, we replace the standard rings with our PLUS rings, which provide superior stability and full compatibility with dovetail plates, guide rings, clamps, and the EAGLE, giving you maximum freedom when configuring your telescope. All PLUS components feature a network of threaded holes, slots, and attachment points designed to offer exceptional rigidity and versatility. Each element of the PLUS system is CNC-machined from a solid block of aluminum, then sandblasted for an ultra-smooth surface finish and hard-anodized to increase durability and protect against oxidation.
