Celestron EdgeHD 9.25" advanced telescope with AZ-EQ6 and EAGLE integrates the best technologies developed by PrimaLuceLab to remotely control the telescope and make astrophotography with the camera you prefer. This telescope can be used in alt-azimuth or in equatorial mode, based on your preferred application: you can use it in Alt-Azi mode if you can't make a precision polar alignment or if you are searching for a very easy to use but powerful telescope; or you can use it in equatorial mode if you want to use it as a powerful astrophotography instrument.

Celestron EdgeHD 9.25" advanced telescope with AZ-EQ6 and EAGLE comes with PLAY, the astrophotography software developed by PrimaLuceLab in order to record beautiful pictures of the night sky in the simpler way and with the telescope you prefer! PLAY includes many features needed for astrophotography like focuser control to perfectly focus you image, mount control for alignment and pointing of many objects, camera control to preview image or to record even a sequence and rotator control to rotate your camera and/or de-rotate field of view. PLAY allows you to configurate your telescope by selecting OTA, EQ or Alt-AZ mount (among the supported ones), astronomy camera provided with ASCOM drivers, ESATTO focuser or SESTO SENSO 2 focusing motor, ARCO rotator and GIOTTO flat field generator.

Since the EAGLE uses Windows operating system, not only you can install any device that comes with Windows drivers but you can also expand its features by installing other astrophotography softwares for Windows (such as Sequence Generator Pro, NINA, TheSkyX, PHD Guiding, MaximDL, etc.). This way you can control all your devices, remotely switch them on/off, control dew heaters (even automatically if you add the ECCO environmental module). All with the external device you prefer, such as a computer - both desktop and laptop - a tablet or a smartphone: just connect to the EAGLE through its WiFi network or ethernet connection! And you can also power more easily all your devices since the EAGLE requires less power than a standard laptop and it distributes power to the other 12V devices.
